Exercise injuries: how to prevent them

Large numbers of weekend warriors, casual tennis buffs and irregular joggers suffer sports-related injuries every week. One study conducted by Professor Kerry Mummery and colleagues from Central Queensland University estimated that more than one in 10 people had sprained a muscle, torn a ligament or broken a bone in the sporting arena.
